Help Us Get Girls Into Football

We are proud to be a club dedicated to the advancement of women and girls in football. Our next objective is to form girls' teams, providing opportunities for girls aged 3 to 18 to participate in football. This initiative centres on the development and success of young female players, ensuring they have a platform to grow and thrive within the sport.

Our vision for this programme is for it to be a resounding success, with a particular emphasis on prioritising women in coaching roles. Through this commitment, we aim to celebrate the achievements of girls in football, both within our club and across the Preston area.

The club openly pledges to ensure that all teams will be accessible and equitable for girls of all backgrounds. We are committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment where every girl can participate and succeed.

To support the development of our girls' teams, we are seeking volunteers, including a dedicated youth football development officer. If you are interested in contributing to this exciting initiative, please contact us at secretary@prestonlambswfc.co.uk.

Yours sincerely,

Rae McMurray

Our girls teams are looking to be set up for the 27/28 footballing season. This gives us optimum time to find coaches, players and to fully develop a plan of action for the teams. This meaning the girls are walking into a established and well thought out team with a plan for the future. Youth teams need enough time and dedication to make sure they are successful. So we do not want to rush this part of the club.
