We are Preston Lambs Women Football Club, a newly established club dedicated to promoting women’s and girls’ football in Preston, Lancashire. Our journey began in 2023 with the creation of Preston Lambs FC, founded with the aim of fostering LGBTQ+ inclusivity within the sport. Over time, as family circumstances evolved, so too did our vision; our focus shifted towards celebrating women in sports. Today, we proudly stand as a club solely committed to supporting women and girls in football.

Inspired by the achievements of London City Lionesses and their recent advancement to the Women’s Super League, we see this as a wonderful opportunity to champion the progress of women and girls in football, particularly in the North West. Their success serves as motivation for our club to make a meaningful impact in our community.

At Preston Lambs WFC, we prioritise development over perfection. This motto underpins everything we do. Our club is a passion project, shaped by years of watching women’s football and witnessing its remarkable growth. From the Lionesses’ historic double Euros victory to the ongoing expansion of the Women’s Super League, the sport is making significant strides, and we are eager to contribute to its future.
